I know Suzuki makes most of Arctic Cat's ATV motors... but do they build the sled 2-strokes too??

Just wondering... my dad just bought a 2003 Arctic Cat Pantera 800 EFI.. Can't wait to give 'er for a spin.

 

Yes they do, in fact Suzuki own a portion of the Arctic Cat Corporatopn (around 25%)

Even on my oldest sled, my 1989 Arctic Cat El Tigre it says Suzuki right on the motor. By the way, isn't the Pantera a two person sled.

 

Yep, my dad does long-distance touring (5000+ miles per season) and my mother comes along most times. The Pantera is a 2-up sled with the EXACT same motor out of a ZR 800 EFI. I did not notice it saying Suzuki on the motor, but I didn't look all that closely. On top of each cylinder head (around the plugs), it says Arctic Cat 800, I was wondering if maybe they started making their own motors.

no there still made by suzuki, they just put artic cat on the bigger motors

 

Hehe, I noticed this morning that it says Powered by Suzuki on the side of the motor.

Yeah, my uncle told me that too but I haven't personally seen one made by Kawasaki.
