I'M SO PROUD OF MY MACHINE! I raced a yamaha worrior this weekend and bet him buy a bike lenghth, i actually let him try again and bet him twice! I was sure he would beat me when he asked me to race him especially when his is a 6 speed clutched bike and i have an 2003 auto 500! has anyone else raced there bike before? let me know the results. P.S. it was on a level ashphalt road! P.S.S The speedo was buried!

 

It doesn't surprise me that you beat him. Despite the fact of the 6-speed and being a manual clutch, he's lacking a good few ponies on you. Especially if he's stock. I've never raced against anyone myself, but would love to try sometime [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img].

Do you know what your top speed is? My own top speed is probably around 63mph right now with my gearing 12/40 vs. 13/40 stock. with my stock gearing I could hit 68, but I've got a pipe on my Warrios.

 

It's kind of hard judging top speed on my bike my speedo is analog and like i said it was buried at 60 so not sure but thanks for the input!!! p.s. about it being stock not exactly shure what he had but i did see a cobra pipe on it and it sounded kinda like a harley when he took off! p.s.s the funny thing was i had a 2002 and he smoked me about 20 bike lengths last year then i got the 2003 with the vinson motor and boy what a difference!

Was his warrior broke down or just a piece of crap. That shouldn't happen. Only warrior I ever rode was a 94. Totally stock and there is no way a 500 AC could keep up. The 650 could I would imagine, but I don't see the 500 beating it in a race unless something is wrong with it.

 

nope his machine was in good shape, he was pulling wheelies with it showing off just before. i'm not making this up! I didn't want to race, cause i thought i'd get smoked again like i did with my 2002 but the 2003 really has some *****![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
