Well it's that time of year from my new 500i 4x4 and i was wondering if anyone knew of the best snow plow for the artic cat. I have read all kinds of articles on the country cycle plow, and the moose, swisher, and eagle. Now i am really confused. Anyone know the best plow and how it should be set up please give me a note and let me know. Also i read something about using a winch on the plow can mess up your winch cable, now how do i get around that?? Thank guys!!

I bought a Quadboss blade with a cyclecountry mount and pushtubes from my dealer, it works well, i have been using my winch to raise and lower the plow, I have been told that using a short peice of winch cable is the way to go, so you wont wear out your long cable.

 

I use the AC snow plow and it works great with the Warn winch. No problems encountered.

 

I have a cycle country power vee that I purchased in 99. It is great for side walks and for busting big drifts in the vee position. Cleaning up in the scoop position is great also. It does not do as well in the straight position as a standard blade du to the "bump out" in the center of the blade. Still works, just not as well.

 

I just got mine over the summer, so I have yet to use it on snow (but it works great on gravel!), but I bought Cycle Country because they have a full lifetime guarantee. 60" plastic blade with manual lift.
