Hello, I am a new member and I have a couple of questions on the new ac650. First is the Diff. lock. What is it and how does is work?
Second is do you think that it will be able to compete against my uncles and cousins when we go out riding through mud and DEEP water being a auto?(wish they had it in the manuel, worried about it slipping) Think there is a Honda Recon, Yahaha Grizzly and a kawasaki.
Been watching ac for about 3 years now, when they had the old speed display, lol
Thanks for your time and have a good night,
eazy

Diff lock locks up front end changing it from limited slip to posi-trac. I don't think you will have any problems in mud and water, intake is high on bike and belt case is seal.

The question will be if they can keep up with you. Nothing goes through that kind of stuff like the big Cat. It will astound you and make it look easy, even with the diff lock off.

eazy0000,
i have a 02 375 4x4 auto and i have had it in some deep mud and waterand i have not had any problems with the belt slipping so in my opinion i would go with the 650 andkick butt . you can charge your uncles and cousins to pull them out

Hey EASY check out my pic's, that should show you what this beast can do! I just equiped it with 26" GATORS now it's unstoppable even without a locking diff, it really takes to the mud and snow and being a 500, it works really well for me lots of pulling power!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!! And remember IF IT"S NOT A CAT I'TS A DOG!!!

Top speed on my cat is 62mph not sure on 650. The 26" gators give me a little more top end.
