I have never noticed my 98 454 having any bad steering, but lately I have had a little trouble steering it to the left. It doesn't have me to worried, but I was wondering if anyone else has had any trouble. With or without winch. I don't think the winch has anything to do with it. to the right no prob. Other than this no problems with the cat so far.

Check your tire pressure dummy.

Thank you Andy for that loving reply. I was asking friendly people that don't bash their own kind.

Big Cat; Although Andy's reply wasn't exactly what you had in mind it is on the right track ,a good place to start. Check your tire pressures be sure they are matched on the fronts and as crazy as it may seem check your rears to you would be surprised the effect a low rear tire will have on your steering.

My dad seems to think that it's the winch. He noticed the steering before I did. Andy you have already told me that it wasn't the winch but i'm going to go ahead and throw it out there just in case. I didn't notice the steering until a few weeks ago and it really gets on my nerves when i'm trying to make a tight turn into the woods. I'll check the tires and hopefuly that is the problem.

Bigbadcat, what exactly are you having trouble with on the steering? Does it turn hard to the left, lean more when turning left, push more turning to the left, more bump steer, what?

Rooster- It is hard to turn to the left. Now If you are cruising at a good speed it is not as hard to turn. So more than likely it is tire pressure.

Yeah, probably is the tire pressures, but like Kagey said, make sure you check all of them.
