Default ITP MudLite ATV tires

Any body know the difference between the AT's and the XT's. I know the XT's are primarily in larger sizes, but the ITP website lists them both as 6 ply. Do the XT's have deeper tread to start, kind of like the 589 26 inchers and up??

The ITP website also lists an XL Mudlite, unless its a misprint. Any body know what the true story is??

Here's the website >>>

Default ITP MudLite ATV tires

I just found some info ...

ITP's ALL-NEW MUD LITE TIRE
HI-PERFORMANCE, LIGHT WEIGHT, UNBEATABLE VALUE
ITP is pushing ATV Tire capabilities to a whole new level with the introduction of the Mud Lite. The new Mud Lite will, for the first time, bring cutting edge technology, all-around performance and unbeatable value together in one tire choice. Computer designed and manufactured in the USA, ITP's engineers have been able to produce the lightest 6 ply rated mud/trail tire available today, yet have been able to keep the price in line with most imports. There has been no sacrifice in effectiveness as the Mud Lite's unique tread pattern, with consistent center tread contact as well as deep, angled shoulder lugs, delivers superior, trail-friendly handling and a smooth, radial tire like ride as well as excellent traction in the mud. A full line of 24 sizes will soon be available in two different models; the Mud Lite AT comes in sizes 22"-25" featuring trail hugging lugs that are 22/32nds of inch deep, while the 26", 27" & 28" Mud Lite XL uses mud slinging 34/32nds (1 1/8") deep lugs.

Now my question is this ... what the he!! is a MudLite XT ????

I think it was a typo.....

Basically AT - all terrain
XT-extreme terrain

That's my take on it.

25" mud lites are like a stock tire.
if you want the deep lugs you have to go 26" or bigger.
