Default Tire question

I have '00 500 auto and need tires. It has 25-10-12 on all 4 and I see that every other machine has 8 on front.Do I switch or stay the same. Will the 8 help in mud by being less for engine to turn or worse since less traction, and how would it steer?
Thanks.

I'd stay with the same set up! 25x10x12 all way around. wider the better in the mud. and go with something light so you're not robbing any power. Mud Bugs or Gators.

I am running 26X9.5X12 Front and 26X12X12 rear. They fit and work GREAT!!
