Default Belt Sensor Problems w/2004 650 V Twin

I'm not sure if anyone knows about the problems you can run into with the belt sensor freaking out on you. It will cause your belt light to flash and you won't be able to go any faster than a maximum of 13 mph. There is a little part that you can get from the dealer that you plug in to two plugs above the Transmission Belt Housing. The part comes with complete instructions. I was told that Artic Cat is aware of the problem and it is the only work around they can come up with.

Oh I got the part and my dealer was aware of it. It was just the 3 hour ride out of the woods @ 10 mph....Just wanted people to be aware and not get stuck in the woods like I did. But thanks for the help :-)
