Default Dynojet Jet Kits, what to expect?

I was thinking installing a Dynojet Jet Kit in my 01 400 4x4. What would I expect? Will I gain throught the power range or will it simply shift the range up?

You will get a littler more performance across the power band, don't expect any huge gains. All of my quads have ran much better after the dynojet kit was installed.

Is the install straight forward or will I have to "tune" it to the quad?

I just put a dynojet in my 04' 400, it was very easy, all i did was follow the instructions to the T and my scooter runs better and has a little bit more power, but the best thing is that it just idles, starts, etc better. I did no fine tuning just put it in a rode, took me about 45 mins from walking outside to cranking it back up. Good Luck!! its worth the money in my opinion.

Do jet kits void the warranty?

Where did you get your jet kit for your 400? I am also thinking about doing one on my machine. Mine is also still under warranty, I wouldn't think it would void it but you never know.

Denniskirk.com has them instock, the problem I found was that they will say they only have it for the independent suspension, when infact they are the same for all the 400's at least 03'-04' as for warrenty im not sure, it does say in the manual that any changes like such would void it, but its not like you could not put it back to stock then bring it in. Good Luck.

Did you buy just the jet kit or did you get the stage 1 kit with the jet kit and air cleaner?

Just the jet kit, but I just ordered the high flow filter tonight, I have heard though that the high flow filters like K&N let more dust particles through than the stock filters, so im going to see if it makes much more difference, if not I will go back to the stock style filters. I have been told that it will help a good bit though. I know the K&N filters work great on our drag car though, like having nothing on the carb as far as air flow goes. Good Luck
