I checked the recommended schedule in our 2002 AC 500i manual. During break-in, change the oil and filter at 100 miles (along with all sorts of other things). If wondering, I got my local AC dealer to perform this task at 129 miles. Now that it's off warranty, I'm willing to work on it myself. The next schedule column recommends to change the oil & filter at 400 miles. Since ours is currently at 400 miles (and fresh after its break-in period), I'd like to change its Oil & Filter, replace its axle lube levels and the perform its many recommended "I"nspect items.

Before I go out and purchase the appropriate Oil Filter & Engine oil, can someone tell me how many 1 US qts of oil I need to purchase. For example, 2, 3 or more qts??? If wondering, its manual doesn't state how many US qts I'll need to use. Maybe its in there but I couldn't find it.
