Default Air filter question

Whats the best way to clean your air filter. i normally just wash it in warm water and soap then dry it and put some oil on it. I was alos wondering if its worth the money up grading to a k and n filter?

You are doing it right, personally I would pass on the k&n air filter,I cannot see it catching the dirt that the factory one does,I mean if it lets a lot more air in there must be less restriction meaning less filter, you can't have both,at least thats how my mind works anywho.IMO.

Ya a k and n filter for an atv is any where from 60-120 dollars. In my view a waste of money unless on a sport quad. I might just buy a new foam sleve for my air filter its pretty dirty.
