diff locker

Default diff locker

hi all new here i have a 400i 4x4 would like to put a diff locker in front or lock it up some how or unlock and lock when i need it any help would be very nice

I also would like to put one with a switch on my 04 500, I have no idea if it can be done or what it would cost. Anyone know?

Well i havea 04-400 auto...well my wife does....we checked into puttunga diff lock in it..........i was told i would have to buya different case.and put in some new parts..........almost totaly change all the fron diff parts..............it was going to be very costly...........an so i would say u might want ti totaly change out the front diff to an o5 diff.........sorry but that the way it is i was told.....if i was told wrong i would like to know

Is there a Detroit Gearless Locker for your bike?If so that would be the way to go.

No DGL available for the AC's. You can buy the rear ring gear assembly and bolt it into the front diff and it will turn the front diff into a spool lke the rear. Dirty Howie has a spool set-up for those AC's as well.
