How can I get more power out of my 01 300. I want to get a littl more power but dont really know any ways. Will and exaust help or K&N air filter or are these items just a waste of money? Thanx

 

My understanding is that a jet kit of some sort along with K&N air filter helps some and either an exhaust mod or replacement of same will help. But you need to remember that a 20% increase(unlikely, 10% if you are lucky) in power will only net you only a horsepower or 2. If you really want more power get a machine with a bigger motor. Would probaly be more cost effective. Then again if you are like me and like your rig, then mod away.

Power packs are a good way to add some HP and and some improved throttle response. (in some cases buying seperate is cheaper depends on the brand.). Then if you can find a After- market exaust that would help also

 

I have never seen an after market exaust for my 01 300. Who makes a good after market exaust for it?

 

I put a K&N air filter on my 98 454. A noticble up grade!

 

Got the guy that works on my cat "300 4X4" to put a K&N filter, super trapp exhaust and he matched the jet to the filter and exhaust. He had a machine shop to make a collar to adapt the exhaust to the pipe. Power is better, a little louder. Hope this helps.
