I picked up my Whootzi's today. It only took a week.Which deserves a wow in my book. Plus, they only cost $1.95 each. Which is considerably cheaper than what I was told they were. Anyways I was thinking of ordering the Arctic Cat service manual. My dealer wants $22 for one. Which I didn't think was too expensive. I decided to order one but didn't know if it would be helpfull. Thanks

The 99 model Service manual covers all cats, but From what my mechanics were saying the 2000 service manual is Model specific.

Mike, do you have a part number for ordering the 2000 service manual? I am interested in a service manual that would give the most information on my 2000 500 manual shift. Strangely enough my dealer could not find a price or part number to order one. He would not sell me his from the shop either.

When are you coming up north to go riding?

E-mail me when you get a chance!

I have a 1999 500 and I also have a 2000 500 auto. I bought the service manual's shortly after I bought the 2000 auto. The main 2000 manual covers my 1999 500 (and all other models) however you'll need to also buy the supplement for the 500 Auto. Both are well worth the investment.

Good lord there Scotto! Your list of accessories is six times as long as the post. Is there anything made for an AC that you don't have?

I'd like to pics of Scotto's rides, it's not very often you see AC's outfitted that well.

Glenn,
Did you put that Supertrapp on yet? Probably won't make it up until September. When I get my service manual in I will try to get the part number for you. I think the parts guy pulled the number off the manual in their shop. He tried finding it on their computer but had no luck.It should be in next week. When I come back from vacation I will see what I can do.

OK here's the scoop on all my mods.
On the 4th of July weekend I was out riding my 1999 CAT. I had just made a stop to check somthing on my bike. Just as I was starting off another rider, driving much to fast and not watching where he was going talking to the person that was riding with him came FLYING arownd the corner and SMASHED right into me. I had just time to swerve to the right & into a tree the other guy, insted of also swerving right swerved left. Well luckly no one got hurt however I cant say that about my cat. Well I'm shure glad that I went the extra mile and got collision when I bought insurence.
The damage estment was $2400 and the insurence co. totaled out the bike and offerd me,$5200 less my deductable $4950 I said Hmmm OK. Then I asked if I could buy the bike back, thay asked how much would I give them I said how about $400, thay said Hmmm OK. Thay cut me a check for $4550 plus I have the bike! When I got to tearing the bike apart all that was damaged was the fram and frunt plastic, bumper, headlight, rack, + laber. Well the biggie the fram is $450 + shipping. I had the AC dealer install the frme and I got the bumper, etc.,etc. so I got my cat back good as new for $1000 & change. That left me with all this cash for mods. I had to spend it quick before my wife catch's on ;-) I even have some $ left to get a trailer to hall both cats somthing I did'nt have. I'll post some photos of Catzilla & son of Catzilla soon. James & Jeff @ Highlifter also want's me to send them a photo.
