Anyone have a Cat service manual

Man, sounds like a bad situation turned out to be not so bad after all! Glad to hear everything faired so well. I was curious though, I noticed you've got a Kimpex rear bumper on your 2000 Auto 'Cat. I have only seen it in the Dennis Kirk 2000 catalog, but they say it will only fit up to the '99 model. Does that rear bumper actually fit the 2000 Auto, or did you have to modify it at all? I don't see why it would be any different than the previous year, only difference in the frame is a couple inches longer isn't it? I'd like to get a rear bumper then install some reverse lights. Man, I hate backing up at night with no lights!
Thanks,
Mike

Cowboy,
The kimplx bumper fits fine as there is no differnce in specs there. However I had to extend the mount out a inch or so when I installed one on my 1999 because of my exaust snorkel. I dident install a front bumper on the 1999 as I'm not shure if it will work with the plow yet (no snow) It shure looks good on the 2000. I got the bumper's from Dinnis Kurk and it's not the same as the ones pictured rathere thay are rounded on the ends. The same ones ase on the Cabelas site.

B.T.W. thanks for the idea on the headlight gards. i also used the same mesh to acent the rear rack. I coverd the gaps on the upright on the back of the rack, the gap's on eather end of the lettering ARCTIC CAT.

Hey, thanks for the info. I had hesitated on ordering the rear bumper, as I wasn't sure it would fit, but I guess now I'll go ahead and get it-well, as soon as I've got some extra money to spare! I think the one in Dennis Kirk was around $66, and the Cabella's one was right around there as well, so that's not too bad.
Hey, where did you mount your back up lights? Do you have a single, or a pair of them? I was thinking of putting a pair of reverse lights on each side of the break light, which would then be protected by the bumper-hopefully anyway. Still not sure of the "best" location to mount them. I'd hate to put a set on, then back into something and break them off!
Anyhow, let me know when you get some pics posted, I'd like to see your 'Cat. I've got a bunch of mine, and some riding adventures but still haven't found the "easiest" way to post them. Seems the computer says it will take an hour to get them on. I thought I got them up one day, but when I was done, couldn't find them guess I'll have to try again one of these days.
Thanks again!
