AC 650 bumper dimensions
#1
Went riding with my brother in-law and sister yesterday in some mud trails by aitkin. It was a lot of fun to test out the 650. My brother in-law was driving a grizzly with 27" mudlites and my sister had a friends kodiak 400. The cool thing is even with my stock AC I could go anywhere the grizzly was going and I could pass him on the hard pack trails. The bad is there were only a few spots we could make that the kodiak couldn't. But really that was cool since it was my sister and she had a lot of fun too.
Back to my topic - Can anyone tell me the dimension of the rear bumper for the 650's. I am going to make one, since my dad has a welding shop and I don't feel like spending $90.00 on something like that. I would like to know where it mounts and what thickness the tubing is and what diameter tubing it is made from. Also, if anyone has any suggestions on how it could be made better I would appreciate it. I was thinking of having it powder coated when I am done, but now I think I will try to have it sprayed with either Rhino Lining or Line-X. That stuff should be really tough and look cool too. Thanks for any help!

The front one attaches to the rack and the two top holes that the winch plate uses. The rear attaches to the frame rails. See if the dealer has one to look at, that should give you a good idea of what to make. The rear one would be really easy to make, the ac one is nice, only I'd make the tubes go all the way to the edge of the plastic. The tube is 1.5 dia, not sure what thickness, 0.095 would be my guess, maybe 0.120.
What is your email, if I get time I'll send you some pics of the bumpers and mounting hardware. Were do you ride at? I'll be up in Zimmerman this weekend, probably won't bring the wheeler though.

My email is cd_drury@hotmail.com. I ride dirt bike at my parent(made some jumps in the backyard), they live in Foreston. I also go trail riding at around Danberry Wisconsin. The only 4-wheelin I've done besides at my parents was in Aitkin. It was pretty cool, but not many trails.
Do you think it would be cool to get them Rhino lined or just get them powder coated?
