i used brake cleaner and didn't lube anything. should be safe.

 

i took the cat out on a ride yesterday. it felt much better when climbing hills. pretty happy with the dalton kit. it's worth the money especially with even larger tires. gonna try a jet kit soon. throttle response seems like it could be better. do they make much of a difference? gonna keep the stock air filter though, not a big fan of k&n.

 

Glad to hear it made a differance. As soon as Im out of warrenty I'll be doing it as well.
