just how much wider will the cases be ?

does anyone know the measuements of the widths of tranny's

that might be a factor but not a big one. the only auto i have time on is the polaris and it felt to wide.
then i'd rather have went with a manual but now i favor auto's. and since their will be a choice. i'll have to choose.

but now i'm thinking i might have a 650 twin if they dont hurry up and get the single out. should they have just kept quiet about it till they had some ready ? people like me see them and think do they have their act together or what ? it does put the doubt there.

thanks again for any comments.

that is true about them tires when you are in floating bog when you get a pair that really hook up and plus when you have tons of low end torque like the 650 the darn thing wants to go straight down but 99.9 percent of the time will keep going forward but a person needs to retrain your mud running skills with this setup like i got that you don't need to mash the throttle every time that you have plenty of power in reserve but the fun part about spinning it down is that you create really bad ruts for anyone that is behind you

I have 3 kawi V-twin powered auto trans quads and the oldest of them just rolled over 1200 miles and 280hrs, and have yet to buy a belt or even had a problem of any kind with any of the belts, what kind of problems are you cat guys having. I was thinking of grtting a 05 V2 cat for the rough and rocky trail systems we ride up in colorado. I have not even been interested in single jug quads since I bought my first prarrie 650 almost 3 yrs ago. As far as what I have herd and read about the Cats they have the best suspension setups for extream rocky terain and handel better than the polaris IRS systems. I was thinking about a Brute force but if I can find a good deal on an 05' V2. The 05 body work looks realy good to me, the old styles just never appealed to me at all. priced one the other day and was a little shocked I was told the V2 LE was about 8 grand and the regular V2 was 7400. my dad paid 7000.00 OTD for his 750 brute force that has IRS and a lot more power. I am wondering if the cats are like Polaris and have a lot of markup in them compared to the tipical grand or so mark up in the Jap bikes. I paid 6300 for my first twin peaks and 6200 for the 2nd one. I was told that I was paying something like 30 or 40 dollars over invoice and was showed the invoice as proof. I have had over grand disconded off the last polaris I owned. Whats a good price for a V2 Cat?

eveything has negatives.

that being said what is negative about the 650 twin cat ?

just want to know what to look for ?

also do you think any cat dealer can compete with a Grizzly priced at 6100 i'm kind of between these two now. i'd pay a little more for the cat but not that much. and will it hurt my realtionship with the dealer if i do ask about the diffrence. that is a big difference and the Grizzly has evrtyhing the catr does and a lot more aftermarket parts and a good reputation. which were i live nobody even considers the cats. i know there good and i'd reperesent them good but theres hardly no companies that offer parts and stuff.
