Hey there. Just a thought to remind you guys to always check the parts against the material list when doing any mods.

 

Are you talking upgrading winches, or atv's in general? Did you have trouble not getting everything you ordered?

Stuff in general...but it just happened to me with a winch mount kit. Cabellas shipped it to me short a few nuts and bolts. I got into the installation and had to run to the hardware store to get the needed items. Must be this old memory, forgot to check for all the parts. Anyway just thought I'd remind everyone to check. Nothing more aggravating than having to run for parts in the middle of a project.

Yeah, you've got a good point. But that surprises me about Cabella's. I guess by the time you realized you were short it was too late to call. They're a pretty good company to deal with, I've been buying odds and ends from them for probably the last 8 years or so and not once have ever had any trouble. Out of curiousity, did you give them a call to let them know what happened? I'm sure they'd try to work something out to make it right for you, maybe a gift certificate, or discount on next purchase or something. Never know till you try I guess.

Hope you were able to get it installed OK after all.
