Default o4 500 auto, has 120 miles, cuts out

More than likely the problem you fellas are dealing with is a spark problem, not so much a fuel problem. The stator in the 400's and 500's goes bad once in a while, and it usually happens when riding slow, or idling , or getting warm. What happens is a wire looses connection, and looses contact when it gets warm. It causes the engine to spit sputter, and die. Minutes or hours later it will start up and run fine, but once it gets warm it does the same thing again. Hope this helps!
The stator in my wifes 04 400 act auto went bad at about 150 miles. It would just sputter and die after it got warmed up.Of course we were away from home on a 4 wheeling trip at the time It would fire up again after a few minutes and run for a short time, then do it again...
I found if I pulled on the bundle of wires going into the stator I could make it quit when cold too...Dealer didnt give me any probs replacing it though.
