if your buying a new quad, check out the 2005 Z400, it has a lot of upgrades from the past year, im not sure if the DVX is taking on those same mods or not. just a thought

the banshee is a good choice if u want some crazy power to rip around on and like fixing engines ( your gonna have to fix it alot oftener then the 4 strokes) but if you don't know a whole lot on engines ie: top end rebuilds. I would say go with a Raptor.

if your gonna be doin FAST trail riding the banshee might be alright like bansherider said though, youll be rebuilding the two stroke and its gonna smoke everyone out if you go slow. an all around good bike would be the dvx,kfx,z400. all have the same options and are built about the same(some may have better warrenties). the z400 got some upgrade this year, bigger carb and some other little things. its known to be faster than last years z400. all have reverse unlike the banshee. i dont know anyone that has the new 400ex but i have heard it now has reverse. not as fast as the others though. if you want a slow trail ,fast trail, good in the sand and woods, wheelie doin machine, without a doubt the dvx400,z400,or kfx400. my friend bought the z400 and loves it. we do alot of woods/trail riding. one thing he did do to help from shifting all the time was buy, i believe it was a "one tooth"bigger ,( it may have been smaller),front sprocket and said it helped him. for better info on that ,just ask the dealer. hope all this helps.

If you want to pick up a lot of info try searching around the site because there has been some good debates on all those models in the past.

Cant see you going wrong with any of the three but the banshee is very different than the other two.

Just an idea but you may want to find one of each of them to ride and see what you think because that can be a lot different than what we think etc.

Your going to have a lot of problems with the Banshee especially if you are saying that your going to be doing a lot of corn riding. The DVX 400 is probably your best choice just cause its a 4 stroke and your not going to have to worry about blowing plugs and having to fix it all the time. The Banshee's really arnt for corn, tight areas. They like to be wide open and riden hard. Go with the 4 stroke, you'll be a lot happier
