i second that. have a 400ex which is a little slower than the dvx and i raced a scrambler 400 and killed him in acceleration and top speed. the polaris is heavy and the dvx is light and fast...

Not dissin' the polaris at all... a very fine machine. But I raced an 04 TB400 (2x4 400) in a 200 ft drag... i smoked him from start to finish.... The polaris is a great trail machine though
But put a pipe on that polaris... and ur done for IMO

All it's going to take is a good pipe for the Scrambler and it's all over with. I sold my Scrambler about 6 months ago. It was WICKED fast. I also find it hard to believe that a 400ex killed the Scrambler, I was able to beat the 400ex with my stock Scrambler.

I have a tricked out DVX 400 and from my own expeirences i know it will take the scrambler. But even with just a pipe im sure the DVX will take it. Keep in mind its all about the rider as well, also the 400ex is no where close to the speed of the DVX, i dont know what it is but for some reason the 400ex just doesnt have the top end speed as the DVX does. Both are very good bikes though
