MPH / KPH on a 650 V2????

I just looked in the parts catalog and every one of the different engine sizes has a different insturment pod. Now that's got to be real cost effective program and a pain for the parts guys. There is no reason to have more than one pod for all of the models. It would be cheaper because of the higher volume of the single part and easier for the dealers, as stocking one item would make sense whereas stocking 4 or 5 different ones doesn't. Me thinks AC needs to use some common sense.

650 V2 use Kawasaki speedos, all the rest use Arctic Cat speedos. Arctic Cat speedos are changable from MPH to KPH and back. Kawasaki speedos can not be changed from MPH to KPH. at least not at the dealer or consumer level. Period!

Once again that is not cost effective for anyone, especially the consumer. Also why do the instructions in the owners manual include the 650 in them? It makes no sense on several levels. Very poor customer relations.

I thought that looked like a kawasaki unit. Guess I was right. Stupid though that you can't change it over. Does Kawi not sell to everyone other than the US? Cause the majority of the world uses metric.
