Default Dimebag is dead

gone is right i was never a fan of his music but just because you people aren't a fan doesn't mean you should celebrate him being killed to the people who enjoyed the hard rock sound it brought a sense of happieness in their lives which everyone's type of music does for them i was devistated when 2pac and biggie were shot and the member of run dmc (can't think of his name) i never could stand johnny cash's singing but when he died i didn't jump up and down and say yes the son of a gun is dead i guess i have more respect for people then that

Actually.........when any of the many "Gansta Rap" vile trash spewing pieces of crap gets mowed down by one of his fellow vermin.........it just graphically illustrates one of the most fundamental problems we now face in American culture.

"2pac" and "biggie" etc, etc, etc........are the very essence of what plages American "Urban Culture".

Race relations in this country have taken a step backwards because of the promotion and acceptance of this vile counter culture negative trash.

I hold my nose at the very thought of it.

I guess if he was a God fearing, Budweiser drinking Adulterous son of the south some people
here would be saying that he's "gone to soon".

I have to just shake my head and wonder whether some folks think before they post.....
finally a good post

it is people like you back that race relations aren't where they should be. i sure hope that you don't think that just because 2 pac and biggie were black and got shot that all black people are gangbangers i have had many black friends and my ex gf is black ok so this isn't your type of music thats fine i am sure i wouldn't be fond of your type of music but still i wouldn't wish for them to die cause i don't like their music and what about say for instance johnny cash and steve earle and some of the country singers who have been knowen to be in prison and have a rap sheet as well and some of he old 80's bands like twisted sister the lead singer never did drugs or drink the type of music they play isn't necessarily a reflection on the type of person they are

OK, I guess I will wade in for a final post to clarify my position. This murder was indeed a senseless tradgedy and I feel for the family that is bearing his loss. I honestly do believe that his activities put him at risk. It is well known that singers, black or white, who promote songs with lyrics of poor taste such as this bands song titled "F-ck You" are not gonna attract the best and brightest that America has to offer. Here is part of an article of what some fans said of the incident:
There's some blood on my ticket stub, so I'm going to sell it on eBay or keep it or something. I know DBD is in heaven (or ripping some mad riffs in hell)."
Other notices on the website - which noted that objects were already for sale on eBay - were not so heartfelt. "Personally, I want a refund," wrote one. Someone else, under the name h8breedsh8, wrote: "Hate to say it, but when your lyrics and lifestyle glorify hate and death and misery endlessly, as every band that plays this club does, this type of #### is inevitable. Plenty of suicides were blamed on Black Sabbath and Blue Oyster Cult back in the '70s. Only diff is that now the psychos take a bunch of people with them!"

I have a pretty good feeling that most people of good moral values are not going to buy the CD for their kid for Christmas and wonder what draws people to listen to these types of artists??? It is a shame when the dates surrounding your dash are too close together but I personally feel the trash he was spewing WAS harmful and won't miss him, or TuPac for that matter. I will leave ya kids with 2 more pieces of wisdom before I leave.

Pa always said "If your gonna swim in the sewer your gonna get eaten by the rats" and my neighbor, a basketball coach says " If you hang around 4 bad apples your going to be the fifth."

If you go by what some of these guys are saying, they are probably happy about John Lennon also. He was a druggy and he played music that I don't like. But I'm not ignorant like some people and I think any of the deaths are senseless. If I walk across the street and get ran over by a truck did I deserve it? I did live a lifestyle of crossing streets alot. . . . . . .

I understand where TRV is coming from, for example, if a woman wears sluty clothes and hangs out in bars all the time she is at a very high risk of getting raped, she is setting herself up for the possible situation. cFhDimbag brings up a good point, I am not trying to start a long discussion here, but everyone is a sinner and falling short of the glory God intended for us, and thus deserves to die and go to hell. God has each of our days numbered and there is nothing we can do about it. - According to my beliefs as a Bible believing Christian.
