Yes, I ride at Windrock and some surrounding areas, you should go to pickett state park and ride also. My frame broke where the gas tank usually is.It's 3 or 4 inches away from any weld,I don't think you could cut the tubing any cleaner than it broke. My buddy rides the same places with no breaks.

NG, I have ridden Pickett a couple of times, before I got my 650. Love to ride up there also. Wish had more time to ride and more money to get there. lol Really would like to get back to Hancocks store and get another one of those bologna sandwiches.

Just heard back from dealer. Artic cat is replacing mine and two buddies frames. Artic cat says frames are breaking due to torque from engine. Getting replaced with new updated frames, thats COOL! Artic cat says symptoms can be hard shift and shifter popping out of gear. So all cat riders check your frames.

My frame broke on my 04 650 , well actually it bent right where the gas tank would be on most quads. So the dealer cut off the serial number and replaced the frame with a new one. After that i was having MANY problems with the shifter slipping out of gear, dealer said it was the adjusting nut kept coming loose so they simply put lock-tite on it and i havent had a problem since.
