Default New to Cat need help

This weekend I bought an '02 Arctic Cat 400i 4x2, took it out this weekend, and man do I love the tourque on this machine, it is awesome. I have ridden many atvs and until this one, never an AC. I am in love. I have heard that there is a low and high range on this transmission, how do you change from low to high, I can't find where it is, can some one help.

I am not sure if the AC. 02 400cc 4x2 had a high low option. Look on the left side of the ATV down by the foot pegs- floor boards you may see a lever marked high- low

Should be and owners manual, even with a used machine. It would tell you, or call a dealer.

None of the 400 2x4s ever had high/low range, gear or auto. The 400 2x4 auto is one of the funnest ATVs ever produced. Sorry to say 2004 was the last year we are going to be produced. It's not in 2005 lineup. There are still many left in dealer inventories. That doesn't mean it can't be brought back if they see enough demand.
