Grizzly or AC 650
Yeah, I think that guy I was saying that to was able to get either a 500i or a P650 for either the same price or $100 difference. For the $100, I'll take a 650 any day. Its just stepping up a full engine class. Now to compare it in its class, give me the V2 over the Prairie.
Still, I definitely agree. They took speed and let it overshadow every other thing on that quad that could have been improved, and let it dominate shootouts. I still be more Grizzlys sold than Prairies during that time though. IRS is the only way to fly on a 4x4. In my opinion of course.
We've lost a lot of good ones on the forums over the years. Cowboy was a damn good one, and Boner was pretty entertaining at times. There was a guy that went by Silverbear in the yamaha forum that was good too. And of course Cob and Kagey and the old timers. Most of them all ended up at ATV nation. I thought about it, but just decided to stay where I started. Every now and then, I'll go and dig up that old post in the Polaris Forum that Evensen started that had like 500 posts on it. Actual posts, rather than just a bunch of guys doing one word lines to make the count high. 500AC vs. Sportsman 500

that is correct having an irs is basically like turning another axle back there but for my style of riding and what i need it for i will take it over a straight axle any day and i drove an 02 650 kawi and it didn't feel like it had much more then my 650 out of the crate. besides that kawi looked like a lil midgit machine. and after i put the 6 ply tires on my machine going through the trails people have a hard time keeping up. i put on about 75-80 miles yesterday in the snow and stuff man was that fun going down our old trails in about a foot and a half of snow (thats where the ground clearance came in )
