My 05 also jump out of gear, adjusted the shifter and no issues since.

Also had backfiring incident during throttle let off, but was caused by an exhaust leak. Loose nuts on the exhaust pipe to head connection. Tighten nuts, problem fixed.

Choke was also sticking last weekend, but it didn't cause overheating, just didn't run good at idle and low throttle. Followed arcticmech's advise and problem fixed.

No other overheating issues yet, sorry, can't help you there! Good Luck!

“Hey” GreenGoblin2,

Where in Northern Ontario? I work for Bowater (Avenor, CPFP, and Great Lakes Forest Products) and spent a lot of time up your way “A”

Good Day!

Theshonk, I don't know what dealer you bought your cat from but there is a new Arctic Cat dealer about a half mile north of the Hayden/HWY 95 light. I'll bet you don't have to wait long for them to get to your cat. By the way, what dealer did you buy from? I buy my Polaris's from CDA Polaris. The two times I needed to get my sportsman's in for them to check something out they made time for me right then and there.
Good luck,

Wayback40,

I bought it from Post Falls; I did talk to Darrick Johnson at Edge Performance. I wanted to purchase from my local dealer in Priest River but he could not get a red one. Once I ‘m done with the warranty Curry’s (PR) will take care of my work.
I was riding out of Bonco last weekend
Thanks for the feedback

Theshonk - So what's going on with the overheating issue, was your dealer able to determine the cause?

Well I picked it Friday dealer said that the wiring was not in the correct place. Thus causing the connection to pull apart. So I get home and rode around the place until the fan kicked in. “Lichen Chicken” so I run up a mountain behind the house get to the top and the hot light is on. So I call the service mgr. He’s on an Egyptian river. He tells me it’s impossible. How could I disagree? I am a sick F**** with nothing better to do but to lay down $8K + and call the service mrg. and make up stories on top of Saddle Mountain. Well he is doing me a big favor. Now he has to order a fan assy from the factory he’ll call me in 10 days. No wonder we getting our a$$ kick in this country. This part should be on the next flight out, dream on. And to top that off I pulled my back out and I BLAME HIM.
Other than that how was the play Mrs. Lincoln.

Ps everything else seems to be OK

Hopefully once your machine gets fixed up once and for all it will give you great service. If not..........there's CDA Polaris. I'm making note to self...do not buy from Beaudry's.

This reminds me of a story my Dad (RIP) shared with me about a guy that just passed on.
So he's at the Pearly Gates and he is told that he did a pretty good job on earth and he could inter the kingdom. But he would have to make his own decision. Thus he would spend a day in hell before he could enter paradise.

Well down he goes as he steps out of the elevator much to his amazement there is the wildest party going on. Wine woman and song etc. he had the greatest time up all night.

The next day up to St. Peter needless to say he wanted to go to hell. Back down on the one-way ride as the door opens a blast of heat hits him. Satan jabs him with a burning pitchfork. Refusing to accept the horror he pleaded," What happen to women and the great party".

The prince of evil responded, “Yesterday you were a prospect today you’re my customer".

Shonk

Ps This is a fictional story any appearance between Satan and my service manager is purely coincidental.

Wwhen the hot light came on was the fan running? Did the engine smell hot? I would suspect the temp sensor switch for the fan before the fan. How to check is jumper the sensor and the fan should run all the time, if it over heats then you will need the infared temp sensor to know if it's really hot. Then again it could be the temp light sensor bad and lying to you and its not hot. You might be able to rent an infared temp sensor at the local rental place.

The dealer did all that (I wouldn’t bet the mortgage on it) the trust is gone. Which is disappointing they just don’t get it. Bottom line is it’s their lively-hood not mine. In time this will all work out for me. But they will never get back what they lost.

You can rest assure if I treated our customers this way I would not playing with these toys.
