Default AC spring spacers

Hi Guys: Was thinking of putting spacers under stock shock springs.Like maybe 3/4 inch wide. Too cheap to buy lift kit. I have the equipment to make them and was hoping for about 2 inch lift.Is this plausible? After 3 years the springs are tired and sag a bit ,but still rides ok.Any one done this before? Thanks for any info.....

Default AC spring spacers

I read where guys were using PVC pipe under the springs to give a liittle lift. One piece fits inside the other and is a little longer so it holds the spring in place. Comments were that although it sounds fragile - no one had ever broken one.
I installed the hilifter HD springs and WOW - what a difference they made!

Default AC spring spacers

Hey,that sounds like a good idea.pvc......hmmm. Do you know what lenght of spacer?Don't want to go too thick, might affect the ride.Highlifter springs are the best solution, but more than $ than lift kit...
