Default almost!!!!!!!!!

well, that was almost it yesterday afternoon. I went for my first spring ride yesterday, i was very excited for we have just finally lost all our snow and now we have LOTS of mud. Five minutes from my house i was heading to the trails when i decided to take a short cut through the ditch. It turned out to be a very deep and steep ditch, so not wanting to get stuck i gunned it. The front end climbed the other side but then a part of the ditch gave out causing the bike to flip over backwards pinning me under it in about 2 feet of water. I was completly Submerged. Thank God a local farmer saw this and ran over with his 3 sons and lifted the bike off of me. Had they not seen it i am sure i would have drowned in that ditch. Ride safe gentlemen!!!!!!!

Well, looks like you picked an appropriate name for yourself on the forum

But it just shows that stuff can happen so quickly you can't even save yourself. Glad you got out of it alive and are able to tell us about it. Whew!!!

Next time you go out you better duct tape a snorkel to your helmet.

Riding alone is extremely dangeous for the very reason that almost took your life. Always ride with someone else.

You're exactly right, Bear. If my son hadn't been behind me when I rolled mine over on top of me, I might still be there trying to slide out from under it. And the helmet saved my bacon as well.

As much fun as these things are, you've got to know that they're also dangerous and you can be quickly injured.

you don't really have to do anything dangerous, something could happen on accident like, a field you thought was just a field no fences, but then you strike a nice sharp line of barbed wire cutting you in half, good times, and that is why i'm here talking about it now, they glued me back togather.
