Default Actic Cat 400 vs Bombardier - opinions

I bought a new 2005 /400 auto for my wife because it was hard to ride double .she said i was wasting my money, now i can't get her off of it.she wants to ride all the time.i've riden it a couple of times and it is a real comfortable machine to drive.climbs well.goes thru mud and snow well ,would make a good first time bike.
good luck.play save

but a kawi? wtf? after being around kawi's lately the only good thing about them is their locking front diff and their engine and that is it i would take a lil 400 arctic cat or suzuki over a 750 bf any day

Thanks for all of the help. That still leaves one little question. Get the dealer installed Winch or buy after market and attach myself? I hear you can get one for 3-4 hundred with mounting brackets and all. Is that right?

if you buy one through the dealer with the atv usually they will give you a great deal on a winch usually i believe they are about 500 dollars. i myself won't put anything but a warn winch on mine but i hear some good things about ramsey and superwinch to. i have bought a brand new arctic cat every spring for the last 3 years and have yet to buy a winch for one. i buy a 6 or 7000 dollar machine i feel they should throw in a winch for free. and if you can read a wire schematic put it in yourself i put mine in in roughly an hour but i have also put in 4 of them now. the wire schematic is really roughly sketched but if you take your time it isn't that bad remember the wire on the atv it hooks to is behind the electrical box and it is the orange wire which is the ignition wire.

I'm new to this site but have owned two 2004 400 cats for 1 and a half years one with plow and one for my wife to ride, Plowing has been excellent my fatherinlaw had plow on kodiak and it sucked compared to cat,I've got factory wich and 5' plow from cat, both bikes have run good for 600 miles and no probs except always use gasline antifreeze in -30 canadian winters or the bike runs like crap, but I would recommend cat to anyone for reliability and capability ,just not the race track theyre a little slow in comparison to yamaha or polaris but who needs to go 65 on four small wheels
