Default Removing Warning labels

Anyone know if removing factory installed rider warning labels voids warranty? any recommendations on what to use to get them off without damaging plastic?

Shouldn't but ask your dealer. As to removal, my pressure washer does it quite well if you hit them from a low angle.

Us guys over at arcticchat.com have been doing what we call the "Shane Mod",named after the guy that came up with it.Traction tape to cover them up,looks good plus if you put your feet up to keep them out of the water you won't scratch your plastic and the traction tape holds your feet there firmly. Some call it sand tape,it is used on stair treads and the like.

Try using a hair dryer. Wave it back and forth over the sticker - not too much, just enough to soften it up. Will peel right off . use a solution of Dawn dish soap to remove what residue remains.

My dealer was showing me that on the 05's the front warning stickers are "clear coated" over. I assume thats because people were removing them. Sounds like covering them up is the only way to do it on the 05's. (I only mean the two stickers - one on each front fender) - I know the rest will "blow" off with a pressure washer from experience...... just like Bear stated.

Cheers

Napa sells "decal and adhesive remover" in a spray can. Used it on my ds's ugly flame decals. Good stuff.

Surprise, surprise my '05 400 has the 2 big main warning placards under the clear coat. All the little ones are still stick-ons. Now why didn't the put the reflectors on the front anf rear fenders on that way?
