I own a 2001 ac 400 4 wheel dr, this machine has enough power to take me every where Ive wanted to go.I sold my 2003 polaris 700 because I liked my arctic cat better, I could take my ac 400 in places that would have my top heavy 700 wanting to tip.I like arctic cats semi Independent suspention it seems solid on side hills.I would think the 500 woul have plenty of power.
