Driveshaft rear boot (CV)
#1
Hi, Does anyone know how to remove the driveshaft on a Arctic Cat 400 4x4 ACT, its not the FIS model with two shafts it's just got one that comes out the back of the gear box to the diff, the boot on it is slit so I need to replace it. I hope someone can help.
Thanks

I have the service manual, I can email you the section on the drivetrain, however it is 13 megs. So let me know your email if you want it. OTherwise, a service manual on ebay is about $5.

I did buy the CD version of the manual but couldn't see anything on the single rear driveshaft model, if you do have this it would be great if you could email it to me @ mick_brain@yahoo.com.
Many thanks.

Hey Mick, it is in the process of going through. Hope it works. What year is your 400? Shouldn't matter as all ACT's would be the same. On my CD manual (2004) it is located in section 6. Let me know if you get the email! Good luck.

Hey Catterman how's it going, I didn't receive the email you sent but I have just booked my ATV in to the local dealer to get it fixed.
Thanks for trying though I really appreciate it.

Oh well, good luck. It looked like a heck of a job to do, so it may not be a bad thing to have the dealer do it. Good luck!
