Hi all,
I now have 50 mi. on my auto 500, and for the last 10 of them the atv has been lurching into drive gear from neutral, after idle. this happens about 40% of the time, but appears to be increasing in frequency.
Is this something to be concerned with?
Is there a fix I can do?

Is it jumping into gear from the neutral position or lurching forward with a rapid engagement when you press the throttle handle off idle?

 

the lurch (jump) occurs when shifting from neutral to either forward or reverse; with No throttle input & brakes applied.

 

Is idle to high? I set mine lower because some time it grinded the gear and then lurched in.
