Default '05 vs '06 650s

Arctic Cat is running some great specials on the '05 models. I was wondering what are the main differences between the '05 and '06, and the differnce between the H1 and V2. I know that the '05 V2 had some clutch issues. I also heard that the '06 V2 had been regeared. I would appreciate any feedback.

As far as the 650 V2's, the 2006's have the 4to1 gearing, different instrument pod, and a stiffer frame.

The 2006 H1's have a MUCH better secondary clutch, new instrument pod, something with the shocks, rubber mounted motor, and new wheels. For clutch issues, it is the 2004 V2's that had the clutch issues, it was pretty much gone for 2005.

If you are getting the V2, I would wait for the 2006. However I was going to do that but couldn't pass up the great deal on the 2005!!!

Might be more, but that is what is coming off the top of my head. Good luck!

I am looking to buy a new Cat this month and price will definitely be a factor. What is the price difference between '05 and '06?

An 05 leftover could be $1000 cheaper.
