Default NEW TRV

I've never had my Bombardier 800 TRV stuck that bad where another 4x4 ATV could'nt get me out,and I have assisted in pulling out other owners of TRVs before with my King Quad, and never had any problems at all getting them out. My guess is you guys were REALLY stuck with your TRVs? But thats one of many reasons why I have a 4000lb Warn winch on my 800. I realize that these issues can and do happen from time/time.

It was 9 inches of snow and had was a 1 and a half deep ditch. The plow had pushed all the snow into the ditch and the guy who I was following did not se the ditch and I just missed him as he buried it. If it was not for the ditch it was no problem.

Neighbor had a 400bomber - sold it. Wasn't much performance compared to the 500 TRV's we own.
Now the Outlander MAX is a different story but it starts getting expensive. You can review the specification online at each mfg's web site. I don't know anyone who is unhappy with the MAX besides their checkbook.

I agree with all that you fellas say. Personally, I think any quad is more fun than sitting on the sidelines. After a couple of sport quads( Raptors) I realized I was just too old to be trying to run with the youths. They wreck and bounce back up, I hit the ground and moan! I studied all of the 2 up machines and though I loved the Bomb max's and I am also very partial to ACat, I bought a Polaris. I really liked the idea of the EFI, seat that converts to a box and no payments for 1 year plus a three year warranty. I still have not seen the 650 bomb max. The Polaris chassis length is 7" over stock. This makes for a very stable machine. This winter I have been wearing my Arctic Cat snowmobile suit while riding the EX. Does draw some stares, though. My wife and 20 year old daughter are thinking of taking the quad from me.
They both love it. I am so thankful they enjoy it. This was a fairly large investment for me. Maybe next time, if money is no object, I will buy the Bomb. Or if AC get EFI on their 2 up I may ride another CAT. Guys just enjoy what you've managed to get. Take your wife/girlfriend/kids and ride everytime you can. Make your family an atv riding adventure family. I refuse to put down anyones ride. Enjoy your time while you have it. Ride what you brung. See you on the trails, jlewis

the 500 anything is a much more powerful bike than a 400, but if you are looking for a bike that is better one on one there is no ? the AC is better because bomb cant compete with the ground clearance or power or wheel travel or production or looks or $ i only have 300 miles or so on my 06 but have 2500 miles on my 03 and the only problem i have had is there is not enough time to ride as much as i want if you are debating because of cost spend the extra and get a better atv

ps. when i bought my 06 500 trv i asked the dealer abought the 400 trv and herd what i thought to be true " if you want to keep up with other atvs you ride with do not get the 400 it is too small for two heavy riders" ( me at 225 wife 160) this is not to say the 400 is not good it 's just too small for all the added wieght.

I believe the 400 HO 2-seater from Bombardier puts out more horsepower than the 500 A/C??

In fact,I dont think there is another manufactures utility 400 that puts out more HP than the 400 HO from Bombardier. Its further been rumored that these 400 HO can outrun most of the other manufactures 500cc utility 4x4s.

Ah,but does it really matter!
