Default NEW TRV

i beg to differ with muddy4life the ac trv is faster than the bomb and i have been with people on the 4oo bomb and have ridden away from them on every occation. and the fact that he hasent gotten his bike stuck so bad he couldent get out well if you look at my pics you will see i am in the mud and very stuck! it took a JEEP with 5 guys jumping on it to get me out i can say the bomb or ANY atv never would have gotten me out when the ac sits higher and pushs mud you cant tell me a bomb will do better mudding is all about the ability to stay on top and not become high centered that is why hondas suck at mudding. i dont know if anyone remembers when the bombs came out o;d doug myere on the tv tryed to do a sled pull and only got 60 feet and it was laughed at. by the way if muddy4life want's to brag about his bomb he should go to there forum!

i do like the bomb 800 max but your comparing apples (800) to oranges (500) and people that do that just are out of touch.

Default NEW TRV

I've looked at the TRV500, the Bomb400 & the Polaris X2 over the last week. The Bomb may be the quickest, but I didn't get a good feeling about it's strength. Specifically the body & frame just didn't seem very sturdy. I have no experience with any of them, just making some observations. But I have read quite a few comments about this too.

The seat back on the X2 seemed like it would fold over with a good sized guy sitting there when the bike was pulling a hill climb.

The AC seat seemed to be the sturdiest of all. It seemed to lack any descent skid plates but had huge racks & nice tube bumpers available. I liked the fact that it has SS brake lines & steel under the foot boards.
