more power?

No there is not -
Please do not modify your exhuast in a missguided process that only creates more noise.
There is a real science to increasing HP beyond a very fractional improvement when only reducing back pressure by punching holes in muffler baffles.
This hack mod along with many of the cheap slip on exhaust modifications just create more noise that is missinterpreted by the inexpereinced as having more power. We've all seen the 16 year old driver with a muffler fallen off who is engrossed with his POS junker sounding like a NASCAR racer... Chicks dig it ...right......
Complaints of ATV noise are playing a significant role in the systematic closure of riding areas. Right here in Minensota and elsewhere. County by county the anti-atv groups are making it illegal to ride in the road ditches, on frozen lakes, many forests – and in some areas – even on private property. Claiming unnecessary nuisance noise in courts and legislative hearings we are loosing the battles one after another after another.
Modifying exhaust systems by riders outside of a competition is contributing to the loss of riding opportunities that thousands of us are fighting with our own money and time off from work to try to protect. The camcorder recordings of hack mod'ed ATVs and their noise is difficult evidence to argue against.
The question to ask yourself is simple. With mod’ing your exhaust for some minimal performance increase - Are you being part of the problem or are you being part of the solution? We have enough problems.
If we are going to protect our riding oppertunities we have to improve our image and start presenting ourselves as if everyone is watching. Because they are. With enough noise complaints we risk our future priviledge to ride just about anywhere.

More noise does not eqaul more power. The latest studies are showing better power increases with a quieter systems if properly designed. Besides it is really doubtful you really need more power. The guys actually in competetion may need it but rarely does that average rider. What they need to do is learn to use what is already have available to them with the present setup. I have seen an average driver take the best and most powerful equipment and lose. I have seen a great driver (one who gets the most out of his equipment) take average equipment and win over the other guy everytime.

what kind of arctic cat do you have i take for granted beings your handle name is v2rider that you have the 650 v-twin and if you want more power may i suggest just getting a dynatek cdi and i heard that there is an airbox mod you can do and they rejet the carbs if you want more power. that is a more lagitamet way of getting horsepower. i got teh cdi on mine and it made a big difference wheelstanding performance now.

What kind of prices are out there for stuff like that? (Not wanting to spend an outrageous amount of money as if it is I like the machine enough to leave it alone)
