Ive been interested in an Cat for a while now. Maybe the H1. But if Cat puts the suzuki 700efi in theirs and fix suzukis probs with it, then that might be nice too. The big problem now on the zuke 700 is the airfilter / assembly letting in dust / dirt and eating the engines up, a few of them are out there smoking pretty bad due to it. If suzuki doesnt fix it in the KQ maybe cat will have a different filter / housing that works better for there version. Then I may just go Arctic Cat, (if i dont go ahead and get a H1 or v2)

Arctic Cat has always put their own air inet and air box system on the Suzuki and Kawsaki engines on the AC machines.

Hey, Hero - where have you been looking at Cats?

I live near Frankfort, work in Lou. Owned a Cat 500i since 2002, thinking about a H1. You know any dealers that want to deal? Any to avoid?

Bought my 500i from Bell's in Lexington, gave me a real good price. But, I stopped there the other day, and their inventory was lousy - just a couple of 400's.

Good to hear about the airbox. Ill go check it out when I get a chance. I have a question about the Cats . I test rode a 500 with same engine as my Vinson 500. It was nice, only thing I didnt like was that when I turned I could feel the "roll", it would "lean" over due to the independent front and rear i assume. Is this easily fixed by adding a click or two to the preload without harshing up the good ride?

Two notches up from the middle setting helped mine out alot. But you might only need one notch because I have a 650 which is heavier
