Default broken plastic and headlight clips

first off let me say that really like my 05 500 auto its 8 months old with 2200kms. I'v had a few problems including a new rear axel and wheel bearing but my dealer took good care of me so I had nothing to complain about. The thing i don't like are the headlight clips that seem to unhook sometimes and leave the light flipping around. Then i was out on sat.and hit a tree top with my front tire and it flipped up and hit the rear fender and broke a 1sq.ft. piece of plastic out,not just a crack but a whole piece I was only going 5-10km/h.I know it was my fault ,but I was wondering if anyone else had any trouble with their headlights or plastics

I have an 06 650 with no problems but I have heard people with 05's that have had issues with plastic cracking and breaking.

I have an 06 400 LE a both rear fenders cracked behind my legs just above where the black foot rests (heavier plastic) end. I was going only about 5 mph when I brushed up against trees and the plastic just cracked. Not as bad as yours, but a good 12 inch long crack.
