hey so has any date been set for this possible get togather in northern mn. i went to tech school in hibbing about 20 miles from the park i would like to get up there and get some miles on my new quad

I saw we head to Lake Mill Lacs, it is in the center of the state, and is suppose to be very nice. I have never been there before though. What do you guys think?

not a whole lot of riding around mile lacs, just the basics, dont get me wrong you can find some good riding but theres no big park. ive lived on the lake for all of my 20 years

The closest trail to Mille Lacs Lake is Pine Center ATV trails. They are nothing really special. Mostly gravel roads with a few off trails. Three decent mud holes, nothing spectacular. The best two trail in northern MN I would say are Spider Lake and Round River. Spider Lake offers more gravel pits and mud while Round River offers narrow, windy trails through a lot of different terrain. I live in Wadena, MN and these three trails are what we hit up the most, all within an hour of here.

That's an awesome hole at spider lake. Made it through after a week of rain with my 95 Yamaha Wolverine. It all depends on the driver thats all, if youre willing to leave your feet on the footpegs and wiggle the quad rather than put your feet on the fenders it shouldnt be a problem. When were you guys up there? Gotta respect spider lake authorities for never putting trees in that mud hole like they do every other decent hole.

Have any of you ever heard of Freedom Ridge ATV Resort in Park Rapids? The website doesn't seem to work, but other sites say they have 500 miles of trail, a resort and Can-Am ATVs to rent, plus a track with jumps and a mud pit. ANyone know if this place is still around? Im thinking about calling the # to see but though Id ask first.

And that third picture you have "Gabe" labeled, but that isn't me, I think that is Dean????
I would LOVE to head to SPider lake again, however I am in a tempory "ATV BAN" and can't go.
I don't even have a real ATV unless you count my 1991 Honda Fourtrax 200 I will be back in a year or two though!!!
