Hey Chumley!! Question, where did you get the springs for your clutch, what tools do i need, and were you pleased with the outcome?

I got the springs from Parts Unlimited through my local dealer. I know the service manager personally, so he did the work for me. I pulled off the clutch cover, he pulled the clutch, and we were all done in maybe 30-45 minutes. He had a special tool for the clutch springs that he uses on snowmobiles all the time.

Results? I LOVE it. I wish I would have done it sooner. It feels a lot more snappy, and the downshift at trail speeds is fantastic.

I just told my wife that the trip was scheduled for the 12-13, and she got PISSED and yelled "NO!! Make them reschedule it!!!"

She immediately dug out her calender and got all happy. She takes classes in the cities, and it turns out that is the one weekend that WILL work. Pretty safe to say that we will both be there, most likely we will bring a couple others with us.

Good idea on keeping the wheeler weez, then after you beat it up in our trip you can sell it. I will bring my old digital camera that has a video recording thing on it, it is only good for 3 minutes, but I doubt weez ever goes longer then 3 minutes anyway! Scooter, great idea on the balloons! I will bring some and we can put out on that road. If other people will get there before me feel free to do that too.
