Default Spark arrester plug?

I was wondering if I am supposed to unscrew the plug from the bottom of the muffler and run the ATV at high rpms for a little bit to clean it out? I have a 06 650V2

Owner's Manual under "Muffler/Spark Arrestor" on page 144 in my 2005 manual.

Yeah, I read my 06 650 manual and it illustrates taking off a spark arrester assembly which I dont have, or dont see. Its supposed to be a triangular piece that has 3 screws and slides out with a screen in it. My muffler doesnt look like it has this, only a bolt with a square head on the bottom side of the muffler.

If you have stock exhaust the the spark arrestor is built into the muffler and there is a pipe nipple welded into the underside of the muffler with a plug in it. An after market pipe is a whole different story.
