Default Knocking Arctic-Cat 375

I have a 2002 375 that has 7800 miles on it. It's developed a knock in the engine and I'm think it might be the connecting rod bearing on the crankshaft. It still has good compression and doesn't use any oil, but one thing I noticed is if the engine is under load right before I start moving prior to the clutch locking up with the automatic the sound goes away and it comes back after the load has become less.
