New to me AC - 1998 400 2x4
#1
Put a post last week asking about this. I just bought it Friday for $1000. I think that's a decent deal. It has really wide rear tires. ITP???? that are brand new with the rubber nipples still on the sides...I have the original wheels and tires as welll.
Here are some pics of it.
Sideshot
Rear Corner
Rear
Front Corner
The question I have is visable in the next pic. Look at the front wheels. Is this normal. I didn't see anything bent and didn't see any way of adjustments. Seems it has a lot of travel if you pick up the front end.

very nice. you got a good deal if it runs good. The front wheel problem may be it has bad bearing in the front. I would pick the front end off the ground and see if that tire wobbles side to side. Take the tire off and inspect the axle were the tire connects.

thanks....I'll try that. It runs great. Starts right up, idles smooth, good throttle response, no smoking. The guy changed the oil very frequently. If he rode hard, he'd change it when he got home. If he was just riding around the neighborhood, he didn't change it as frequently, but within AC specs. Of course I have to take his word for it, but considering how well it starts and runs, I assume he's correct. He's family of a neighbor of mine.
