#1
i am a true honda man..but lately i have been thinking of tradeing my foreman for an ac 650. i know there is a big power diffence in the too but what else can i expect? is the ac as dependable as the honda or better all together?

my parents both have 450 foremans and i have the 650 cat and even though the foreman is a good machine that is tough as nails the 650 cat is more comforetable in every aspect. the ride, the seat, the braking. the one thing about the honda is that it seems to be better on tighter trails but it sits alot lower to the ground and is alot lighter. my 650 can out pull the 450 any day but that is to be expected. dad has 2200 hard miles on his foreman and we just replaced the front wheel bearings and that is it, mine has 1700 hard miles on it and i replaced a fried belt. and well like i said the ride is what is gonna sell you immediately.

Hillbilly, any wheeler will get light and want to come over if you give it "whiskey throttle" going up a hill. The AC is the same as all other bikes, use smooth, consistant throttle going up any hill while standing and leaning over the handle bars and you will not have a problem. The AC does sit alot higher than a honda (12" of ground clearance) so it might take you a little bit of seat time to get used to, but once you do you will love the 650.
I used to love Honda's, but an AC650 is hands down better in every catagory than a 450 foreman except for the name. Honda has built a great reputation from the 80's on up as a bullet proof machine but that is not the case anymore because all of the other company's have also stepped up to the plate.
Good luck making your decision but my vote is the 650. Power, ride (true independent suspension), engine braking, and LOOKS. There isnt another wheeler out there thats is sweeter than a cat.
