I thought the 300 was the big bore as the little engine is the 250. Wasn't aware there was one on the market.

I am in the process of putting one in mine. The cylinder is out getting resleeved as we speak so when I get it back I will let you know if it was worth the money...

I had one installed a few years ago on my 4X4...piston and cam. With the K&N, pipe, and jetted carb, it made a noticeable difference.

What kit are you considering??

Thanks for the replies, let us know how it all goes.

I'm looking at the Four Stroke Tech 331cc kit. I'm getting some feedback that sounds good, so I may order the kit in the next couple of weeks.... I'll most likely just send my cylinder to FST and let them do the work. The small engine shop here in town is kinda shady, so i really don't trust their work.

I just called FST today to see whats up with my cylinder getting sleeved and he said its going to be another 2 weeks because he has been sick for a total of a little over 4 weeks so Mudking you might be better off sending it out to LA sleeve and have them sleeve it. They charge the same ammount and and might be able to get it done sooner if your in a hurry...

Oh ok.... does L.A. Sleeve make the sleeve for the FST kit? I looked on L.A.'s website for a "big bore" sleeve but they only list a replacement for the 300.

No, LA sleeve doesn't have the sleeve listed but the kit comes with a sleeve (its not listed as it does) and you can just send out your cyl and the sleeve and they will install it for you for about $175 or at least thats what they told me...
