Default NEW PURCHASE: '99 500 4X4

Well, I think I already know the answer to this question, but who makes the motors for arctic cats especially my 99. I bought this thing off ebay and when I picked it up it had a suzuki motor. I feel like I might have been had.
Any answers to this obvious question?

Suzuki has been making motors for Arctic Cat ATV's since the first one rolled off the assembly line in 96. Suzuki is 1/3 owner of Arctic Cat. The 650 V-2 is made by Kawasaki and the 650 H-1 is Arctic Cats first in-house motor. The Suzuki motor is bullet proof as long as it has been maintained properly you have nothing to worry about, so enjoy and welcome to the forum.

That is a great engine you got there. Suzuki has also been making most of the engines in the Arctic Cat snowmobiles since the 1960's.
