Deer Hunt Pics up

Hey, great photo's! They turned out pretty clear too, look good! Couple of nice bucks there too, makes it even better. That's one thing I wish I could have done different with my hunt, was having my 'Cat with me. That was originally what I bought them for -hunting season- and while I used them a lot during elk hunting, I never did get to carry an animal on them, either deer or elk. Guess I'll have to wait till next year, maybe I'll get lucky and get another deer and actually be able to haul it out on my 'Cat.
Loved the one of the 'Cat in action, winching the deer up the tree, that was great!
Take care,
Mike

Great pictures. Looks like you guys had some kind of good luck. I wish we could take more than one deer in a season. Our season here is a lot like where Cowboy lives. Just about three and a half weeks. Of course we do have elk hunting , but they are a lot craftier than deer and are so much quieter that at times it seems you are hunting ghosts. Well enough of that, you got some nice animals there..

You hit the nail on the head with that one. I'm constantly amazed at how the elk with their enormous size can be so "stealthy" quiet. They'll cross right behind you, you'll never know they were ever there. Well, that is until they get spooked, then they sound like a damn sherman tank running over and destroying everything in their path.
Definatley amazing animals.
